Firmware engineer: Further investigate IOT network communications

Need to investigate [catm1/narrowband](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narrowband_IoT) options further, in most places there is more network available and it doesnt need much in the way of configuration as an out of the box / plug and go solution (works really well with MQTT too).

Ideally id see this being the primary communication method with wifi or a bluetooth mesh being a backup or if there was no LPWan network connectivity.
