occ_impl / 3d drawing documentation

Hi!
I need to create a surface (and ideally extrude it to a solid) from a collection of 3d points along the outline. The points are not co-planar (indeed, the resulting surface will have multiple curves including up/down).

I read in another issue, that cq.occ_impl can be used to create 3d objects directly, however I can't find any info on this. How would I get started ? Are there any examples anywhere I can crib from ? (google is not find any :-/ ).
