### Bug description

It took me a while to get the touchbar working and surviving a sleep/resume, which was accomplished by enabling mem_sleep_default=s2idle. This worked fine until 7.0.0, but with 7.0.1 the behaviour changed and the touchbar stays black after resuming.

### Steps to reproduce

1. use a Mac with T2 touchbar
2. use the same kernel options as me
3. do a fresh reboot: touchbar should work fine
4. go to sleep
5. turn the device back on by pressing the power button

### Expected behavior

Device should properly resume, the touchbar should turn on and keys be responsive. Tiny-dfr might need an (automated) restart via a script.

### Actual behavior

Device should properly resume, but the touchbar will stay black or show the default media keys, but the keys won't work.
