[Bug]: Error: Unable to create KIO worker. Unknown protocol 'discord'. with Equibop

I get the following popup error while attempting to open a discord invite on Brave:

> Unable to create KIO worker. Unknown protocol 'discord'.

I'm using Equibop in place of the official Discord app. I googled for awhile, updated through Octopi, disabled AppArmor, waited a few days and updated again, but I'm still having the issue. When I CL xdg-mime default equibop.desktop x-scheme-handler/discord it prints _equibop.desktop_, which exists.

### Steps to Reproduce

Open Brave
Click on a discord link
Click Accept Invite

### Expected Behavior

Equibop opens/focuses and joins that server.

### Actual Behavior

Error - KIOExec
Unable to create KIO worker. Unknown protocol 'discord'.
