Enabled every option from preferences, installed ffmpeg-thumbnailer but no help

If I set no preview, then the orange colour image shows as preview (default), otherwise everything is black

tried with upgrade the package also from flatpak, didn't work either

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked CachyOS log and reproducing the missing image and video thumbnails in Nautilus with previews enabled. Compare the behavior with Dolphin, then identify the Nautilus thumbnail-generation failure indicated by the report. Done means Nautilus displays thumbnails for the affected images and videos without relying on the orange placeholder.
