The list of spatial references, all be it extensive at about 230 options, is not comprehensive for the globe. We may want to rethink how we establish this. We don't need to translate the specific state plane coordinate systems for a group that would use
this in an other country.

What if it was purely user entered? Does the above list come from CUAHSI/ HydroServer?
