Can each HIS-registerd service have 2-3 new fields added that can be used to sort/find data sources?

Devise several general project classes (national agency, research project, citizen science etc)

if HIS starts adding more non-hydrologic data, should there be another classification option: hydrosphere, lithosphere, biosphere, atmosphere etc

Right now HydroDesktop alphabetically lists all sources by name, and many users do not know what most of these data sets are based on just name.
