Functionality for larger data sets

I would like to suggest couple of additional functions for the util.
1. Allow giving alternative root path for the encrypted files. This would in cases where 8 hour time limit is exceeded to encrypt the data in advance to a separate faster disk for transfer later on.
2. Allow multiple threads to be used to encryption. In hopes of speeding up a process of encrypting larger amount data.
