Description
[MED](https://www.salome-platform.org/user-section/about/med) offers an in-memory API for exchange of data, and the in-memory interface can also persist to a file. I believe it is currently limited to 2nd order elements. It may be most similar to FMS in intended workflows to support, so the README should compare in terms of scope/audience.
