Bug where severity does not change after editing (occasionally)

After creating the issue and trying to edit the severity, there seems to be a bug where the changes are not reflected occasionally despite clicking on a different severity level.

Environment: Chrome, Windows 10

Reproduce the issue by creating an issue and editing its severity in Chrome on Windows 10, using the attached recording as a reference. Trace the severity editing flow and verify whether the selected value is reflected after saving and reopening the issue. Done means severity changes are consistently persisted and displayed.
