improve search by stripping some chars

Often I find myself copy / pasting a block height from some other document into the search bar of the web client, only to find that it's unable to determine that I was searching for a block height. If the input doesn't look like a transaction hash or an address, I'd recommend adding the stripping of commas and perhaps periods from search input in order to handle this case better.
