Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are identified. Reproduce the crash with npm install, then start the application and consumer using the listed Node, RHEL, node-rdkafka, librdkafka, and OpenSSL versions; capture the missing configuration and a minimal reproducer. Done means the segmentation fault is reproducible and its cause or resolution is documented.
