Description

Hello, may I ask you some questions about MESHDistillation? Thanks for your help. Wish you a good day.

a) Does the reflux ratio in BioSTEAM’s ```MESHDistillation``` refer to the mass ratio or molar ratio?

b) Could I consult you when does ```MESHDistillation``` and ```BinaryDistillation``` need a full condenser (https://biosteam.readthedocs.io/en/latest/API/units/distillation.html#:~:text=Simulate%20distillation%20column%20with%20a%20full%20condenser%2C%205%20stages%2C%20a%200.673%20reflux%20ratio%2C%202.57%20boilup%20ratio%2C%20and%20feed%20at%20stage%202%3A)?

c) Can neither ```MESHDistillation``` nor ```BinaryDistillation``` set the mass ratio of distillate (ratio to feed stream of column)?

d) Could I consult you what are the differences between the several Distillation towers in BioSTEAM (https://biosteam.readthedocs.io/en/latest/API/units/distillation.html), especially MESHDistillation and BinaryDistillation?

e) Is the ```MESHDistillation``` equivalent to the ```RadFrac``` column in Aspen plus? How can the number of stages to be input and the position of stages to be fed be obtained for the ```MESHDistillation```?

f) Could I consult you which distillation tower is usually used to build the process?

g) Is it OK to use ```BinaryDistillation``` (instead of ```MESHDistillation```) to build the process?

h) Do ```boilup``` and ```reflux ratios``` (https://biosteam.readthedocs.io/en/latest/API/units/distillation.html#:~:text=boilup%20(float,at%20the%20condenser.) in ```MESHDistillation``` and ```BinaryDistillation``` refer to molar ratios or mass ratios?

i) Could I consult you how to set ```thermo``` in the ```MESHDistillation``` and ```BinaryDistillation``` (https://github.com/BioSTEAMDevelopmentGroup/Bioindustrial-Park/blob/master/biorefineries/HP/system_sugarcane.py#L485), when to set ```thermos=ideal_thermo```, and when to set ```thermos=None```?
