Rather than having controls on the display itself, it would be less distracting for the audience if the controls were in the control panel, in the controls at the bottom.

As is will work but is distracting.

Start by locating the Media package and the control panel entry point, then inspect how the existing video controls are placed on the display. Done means the controls are available in the bottom control panel instead of on the display, without changing the requested viewing behavior.
