Description

Hey CMiSSioN!

I'm James (Blackhorse311), building AIEmpires, a free BattleTech modpack with LLM-driven faction AI. CAC and CustomUnits are load-bearing for the whole thing, honestly half the pack's combat depth comes from your work.

Two asks:

1. **Permission to redistribute.** My launcher downloads mods from my CDN, and the builds I ship are BTA-lineage (CAC 0.0.1.205, CU 0.0.0.110). The pack is free, never monetized, and every mod gets credit plus a link back. Can I have your blessing to include CAC and CU?
2. **Would you consider adding a LICENSE file to the repo?** Right now there isn't one, which technically means all rights reserved. Even something restrictive would give packs like mine (and BTA/RT) a clear answer forever.

One related item: the CAC zip bundles AttackImprovementMod, which is AGPL. If you can point me at the source for the bundled AIM build, I'll link it in my credits to keep the source-offer clean.

No rush at all, the pack is pre-release. Thanks for the Custom* suite, it's incredible work!

Research direction

Review the repository's missing LICENSE file and the issue's request about the bundled AttackImprovementMod source. This is done only when the maintainers decide whether to grant redistribution permission, select licensing terms, and provide the requested source reference.
