Description
We should add support for passing cancellationTokens to async calls.
For example:
`public async Task ParseAsync(TextReader reader)`
Should become
`public async Task ParseAsync(TextReader reader, CancellationToken cancellationToken = default)`.
This allows our consumers to cancel the workload.
