Unclicking the Interested Checkbox in Minor Thing does not update the list of Interested Candidates

Unclicking the Interested Checkbox doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t update the response, and still keeps the student interested in Minor. If I uncheck the box and go to see the interested candidates, there is still that interested candidate, and going back to the checkbox, it is not changed and still stays checked.
