Issue Description:
On the Courses page, the “Upload your syllabus here” area takes up too much vertical and horizontal space within the table. This makes the course rows larger than necessary and reduces the amount of information that can be viewed at once.

The syllabus upload area should be made more compact while keeping the existing upload functionality. A smaller dropzone or compact “Upload Syllabus” button would improve the table layout and make the page easier to scan.

Expected Behavior:
The syllabus upload control should fit neatly within the course row without significantly increasing the row height.

Start at the Courses page and locate the “Upload your syllabus here” control and its surrounding table-row styles. Make the upload area compact without removing its existing functionality, then verify that course rows stay short and the syllabus upload still works.
