Hi Char,
following your mod closely and starting to use it. Great work! I have some suggestions that I already implemented in my custom version of your mod:
1. Info on Diplo ribbon: I changed the code so that the extra info appears on the tooltip and not as part of an extended icon as you did. I find it better to use the tooltip for two main reasons: first, it does not clutter the leader icons, and second, it is far more flexible. We can add as much information to the tooltip as we want, I already added culture, tourism, number of techs and faith. No clutter.
2. I also added code for hotkeys to enable/disable resources icons, and for the grid. A must since civ 4, and easy to customize and/or program smart mice like the Logitech ones.
I have code blocks for both, are you interested in implementing these ideas into your main mod? I can share. Let me know.
Cheers,

Research direction
Review the contributor's proposed code blocks for diplomacy-ribbon tooltips and hotkeys for resource icons and the grid. Confirm the desired information appears in tooltips without cluttering leader icons, and that the hotkeys enable and disable the stated UI elements.
