I've had to stop using this damn mod and I really hate that

Start in the CQUI_Community-Edition repository by locating where the Steam or Civilization VI version is recorded; the issue names no file or test. Compare that value with the most recent Steam version and verify that the mod works with it. Done means the outdated version reference is updated and the mod remains usable.
