Description

I have no idea why it interferes with the World Builder but when CQUI it active start positions become invisible on the map. See screen shots of same area of same map with/without CQUI.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in Civilization VI's World Builder with CQUI enabled and disabled, comparing the same map area as shown in the screenshots. Then trace the CQUI UI behavior affecting World Builder start-position visibility. Done means start positions are visible with CQUI active without regressing the normal map UI.
