Disappearing config settings

During a recorded demo, I had an issue where config settings (through the VS Code extension) appeared to be set then magically removed. On the recorded demo, I then tried to set with the portal, just to move on to the next step of the demo, and those also didn't seem to work.

I don't know if the service had a hickup or how else the settings could be removed. If you want to see the internal-only video, please let me know.
