According to https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/b320d67e-60aa-45ba-a71a-afdf8d9b3fdc/windows-hpc-2016-db-server-backup-strategies?forum=windowshpcitpros the best documentation available for backing up MHPC is from the 2008 R2 legacy documentation. I would love to have documentation on backing up MHPC 2016 in the official docs.
