Create item button disappears

When you have opened the query editor and go back to the items tab, there’s no more ‘Create item’ option;

Reproduce the issue by opening the query editor, returning to the items tab, and comparing the tab before and after navigation. Trace the query-editor return path and the items-tab rendering or state that controls the Create item option. Done means the Create item option remains available after returning, with the before-and-after behavior covered by an appropriate test if one exists.
