Regen preview pipeline fails on push in some cases

I don't know the full root cause here but we get this error in the regen preview pipeline.

I am wondering if the script could be updated to be resilient to this.

Start with the linked Azure DevOps build log, especially line 51, and trace the regen preview pipeline script that reaches the failure. Reproduce the push-triggered case and define done as the script completing successfully for the reported cases without the error.
