Description

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/compute/virtualmachines/get#virtualmachine

It appears the only way to know how long a VM is alive by querying the activity log directly. I request a vm create date or age field is added to the vm response object.

Thanks!

Research direction

Start with the linked Microsoft Virtual Machines Get API documentation and inspect the virtual machine response schema. Done means the API specification and resulting response expose a documented VM creation date or age field, with the expected behavior agreed for the service.
