The requested URL could not be retrieved

I can't able to connect to the public ip (azure VM) from my PC
I have configured to static dns **xxxxxxxxxx.southindia.cloudapp.azure.com** and **http port 8080**
but still i couldn't able to connect i get the following error on my browser.

But any help would be much appreciated
