My PR has not been merged, and the contribution guide does not address how to ask for merge support

I created a PR 6 days ago, and although it passed all checks, it has not been merged yet. I have to assume that nobody with write access to the repo has seen my PR, and the contribution guide does not specify who (or how) to ask about getting a commit merged. I've attempted to contact several people who have merged other PRs, but have not received any response.
It would be very useful to add information about this step in the process to the contribution guide.

Locate the repository's contribution guide and read the existing pull request and merge-process sections first. Add clear guidance on who to contact and how to request help when a checked PR has not been merged; done means the guide covers this step without ambiguity.
