Description

Customers create a site-to-site connection to Azure and the first thing they want to do is replicate their on-premise AD to new domain controllers on their new Vnet in a high-availability configuration.

Create a template that:
1. Creates a two Windows VMs
2. Joins them to an existing domain
3. Installs AD Domain Services
4. Upgrade the new VMs to be new domain controllers in an existing forest.
5. Places a load balancer in front of the new VMs (is this necessary?)

Research direction

Start by reviewing existing Azure Quickstart Templates for VM, networking, and domain-service patterns. Define the template around the five requested steps, and resolve whether a load balancer is necessary before considering the work complete.
