When DSC for Linux extension is removed the DSC package is also removed

When DSC for Linux extension is removed the DSC package is also removed. I do not think that should be the behavior. When I remove the DSC extension for Windows that extension does not remove WMF 5 for example. I think only the extension should be removed the VM and not the DSC package. For example the OMI package is not removed.
