New Azure Monitor for Linux agent does not support all RHEL 7.x images

I would love to upgrade all of our RHEL virtual machines to use the new Azure Monitor for Linux agent, however I am getting the somewhat perplexing message that the following image is not supported despite the fact that the documentation seems to say that any version of RHEL 7 is supported.

The "not supported" image is the following:

Begin with the linked Azure Monitor agent overview and the reported RHEL 7-LVM image details. Reproduce the unsupported-image result, then determine whether the implementation or documentation is inconsistent; completion means the documented support and observed behavior agree for this image.
