az devops service-endpoint update --enable-for-all does not work with Kubernetes service connections

Description

When running the below command, it fails to update the service connection. In this case, it is a Kubernetes service connection:

The service connection still has the 'Grant access permission to all pipelines' checkbox disabled; any ideas on how to get this working?
