enum type shows expanded on the portal

Hi,

when the data scheme states a variable of the type "enum", this field will show expanded (= all possible values) on the portal. This produces unworkable pages. Is there a way of specifying a drop down list or some other UI object.


Reproduce the reported portal behavior using a data schema variable of type enum, then trace where its possible values are rendered. Confirm the desired control, such as a dropdown or another compact UI, before changing anything; done means enum fields no longer make pages unworkably tall while keeping their values available.
