Description

Hi,

I'm implementing a custom widget for the Azure API Management Developer Portal to have a custom subscription approval flow (on the products detail page). For this to work, I need to know a couple of things, for example: what product/API the user is trying to subscribe to.

I've read the documentation and followed some examples, but none of them are accessing these parent/default properties. I've also tried moving up the DOM, but since it is rendered as an iframe, this doesn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

Research direction

Start with the Azure API Management Developer Portal documentation and custom-widget examples, focusing on the products detail page and the subscription approval flow. Determine whether parent/default properties are exposed across the widget iframe boundary; done means documenting a supported way to access the product or API, or clearly documenting that this is not supported.
