Description

Our api backend requires an additional header field with every request. The "+ Add header" field does the job when you try out a request. When I navigate to another request then I need to add the header field again, which is very cumbersome.

Is there a way to persist this additional header field and value for a developer user?

Research direction

Start with the developer portal's Try it flow and the "+ Add header" field, then trace how headers are stored while navigating between requests. Determine where a developer user's header name and value could persist, and verify that the saved header is available on another request without being re-entered.
