New datastore blade does not accept static web container "$web" name

A blob storage static website container cannot be registered as a AML datastore.

Blob accounts have a feature to serve static content as a "static website" by creating a dedicated container whose content is accessible as web content (e.g. html pages). The container is created with the name "$web".

When creating a datastore in AML, selecting this container from the dropdown list results in an error as shown here below.

The workaround is to either programmatically to copy the static content files to the $web container, or to use a temporary datastore to upload the files to (assuming they were created in AML), and use e.g. azcopy to copy from the temporary container to $web.
