Problem: I am Rahul Chauhan attempting to upgrade my Azure Site Recovery Configuration Server to the latest version (specifically 9.65.x.x or newer, which is crucial for compatibility with RHEL 8 VMs and NVMe disks) but have experienced significant difficulty in locating the official Unified Setup installer through standard Azure channels.
Where I Looked (Steps Taken):
Azure Portal:
Navigated to my Recovery Services Vault -> "Site Recovery Infrastructure" -> "Configuration servers".
Also checked "Getting Started: Prepare Infrastructure" within the Recovery Services Vault.
Observed: The download links provided in these locations consistently point to older versions, specifically 9.63.x.x, despite 9.65.x.x being available and required for newer OS/hardware support.
Microsoft Learn Documentation:
Searched official Microsoft Learn documentation pages related to Azure Site Recovery Configuration Server deployment and upgrade. I expected direct, reliable links to the latest official binaries.
Observed: Similar to the portal, documentation links for the Unified Setup installer often lead to outdated versions (e.g., 9.63.x.x) or are difficult to pinpoint for the very latest release.
Observed Behavior (The Bug/UX Flaw):
Despite thorough searching in the Azure portal and official documentation, a clear, direct, and easily discoverable link to download the official 9.65.x.x (or latest recommended) ASR Unified Setup installer was not apparent.
