AWS CloudTrail : connector validation failed there are two connectors with different names and the same kind and context id

I am setting up AWS CloudTrail, and it keeps giving me the below error:

there was a previous setup, but its associated resources got deleted.

I already tried uninstalling and installing the data connector from content hub but still it is giving me the same error.

Any help will be much appreciated.
