some confusions about Azure function

Please describe the documentation request or issue. Be as specific as possible.
hi , I have some some confusions about Azure function, I cannot find answers in the documents:
1. Azure function use Microsoft own library to run it, can it also support spring boot / tomcat/kafka ?
2. I can deploy Azure function through github to cloud, and when I commit update in my local, Azure function can update the commit automatically, but the code not build in the cloud, because the result does not change; so how to build the code after github code deploy to cloud?
