Description

The ARO HCP e2e-parallel job entered an uninterrupted ARM/AKS provisioning failure streak on September 7, 2026.

This tracks a temporary rollback of main from cf1855bd5478e44f76718bb29025b8d50f28cea5 to 074dbff3ae793d48cb9d0b681e996a1ebd2a0595, an observed-green September 6 snapshot (2 successful e2e-parallel jobs, no failures).

Investigation details: main E2E provisioning times out while ARM polls a Microsoft.ContainerService/managedClusters operation that remains Running without an Azure error payload.

Research direction

No files or tests are named; start with the ARO HCP e2e-parallel job history and compare main at cf1855bd5478e44f76718bb29025b8d50f28cea5 with the observed-green snapshot 074dbff3ae793d48cb9d0b681e996a1ebd2a0595. Done means the temporary main rollback is applied and the ARM/AKS provisioning failure condition is no longer reproduced in the job.
