Description
Description: Capacity Blocks (private preview) allow users to reserve GPUs for future reservation windows. This Github issue tracks support for an integrated experience in NAP that simplifies the use of Capacity Blocks in AKS.
With this experience, users can input simple info about their capacity reservation, and NAP will manage the CRD creation, and management for these reservations on NAP-managed nodes.
Currently, NAP allows users to create Nodepool / AKSNodeClass CRDs (config files) that are active once created, and can schedule pods immediately once active. For future-time capacity reservations, a user may not want their pods scheduled until the capacity block reservation window is live.
