Description
Today, AKS recommends self-installation of the k8s device plugin on Linux GPU nodepools via a daemonset.
An improvement to the default Linux GPU experience would be automatic installation and updates of this plugin and GPU driver at node pool create time.
Status: Currently available in public preview.
General availability is targeting Q4 2026 (please note this is an estimate and subject to change).
