### Description
The issue arises whenever I connect one of my certain bluetooth speakers to laptop and also I have seen that sound devices running at AAC codec can cause this problem. Previously when I had installed dms the issue was back then started, then after some days the update came, and I switched to that newer version of dms and kernel also.
**Working Version**
dms-shell = 1.5.0-1
linux-kernel = 7.1.3.arch1-3
**Current Version (Issue)**
dms-shell = 1.5.3-1
linux-kernel = 7.1.8.arch1-3
so whenever I connect to that bluetooth sound device, even if I change the volume from the hotkey available in laptop, it won't change the volume, only if I change it from the status bar above it can be changed only.
### Expected Behavior
_No response_
### Steps to Reproduce
1. connect a bluetooth sound device which supports AAC codec
2. try to change the volume from hotkey
3. (it does show, bar changing but no effect in sound volume)

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by tracing how laptop volume hotkeys are handled in the DMS shell and compare that path with the status-bar volume control while using an AAC Bluetooth device. Done means the hotkey changes the actual output volume, not only the displayed bar, and the regression is covered by a reproducible test or documented verification.
