index-https-mobile.html is not served in https?

I want to use jetpack with wp-super-cache so that the mobile pages would be cached.
I turned mobile theme on + wp-super-cache (including the mobile theme plugin in the plugin section). I see that it creates index-https-mobile.html.
But that once an index-https.html is created - it does not serve them.
This only started occurring once I moved to using https.

Can others reproduce this problem? Any suggestion on what to do?

Start by reproducing the HTTPS setup with Jetpack, WP Super Cache, and the mobile theme plugin, then inspect the generated index-https.html and index-https-mobile.html files and how requests are served. Done means determining why the mobile cache file is not served after the HTTPS cache exists and documenting or testing the affected behavior.
