Description
The WP Githuber MD. Super cool:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-githuber-md/
Now I have to always do it with workarounds (like double tags). Would be cool to have that thing supported; not sure what is required to achieve this. My expectation is that if you type code in its markdown block, it is highlighted by the highlighter. Now it's not taking up the blocks, you have to put [code] short codes or angle brackets.
Please note this is NOT about the gutenberg's built-in markdown block.

Research direction
Start by reviewing WP GitHuber MD and this plugin's handling of code blocks to determine what integration is required. Define the expected behavior for code entered in its Markdown block, separately from Gutenberg's built-in Markdown block; done means that code is syntax-highlighted without shortcodes or angle brackets.
