Description
### Quick summary
I've seen several other reports of extremely slow load times, serveral pleas to fix these issues and haven't seen any resolutions to the slowness.
### Steps to reproduce
From lauching the app, to creating a site, to building a simple post, saving a post, etc., every action is slow. I'm running a capable Dell Latitude 5540 with 32gb of RAM, so it seems the app should run faster than it does. Almost every action has me waiting 15+ seconds to complete. I didn't see any troubleshooting info on the Studio website, so I'm hoping you can provide some ideas here.
### What you expected to happen
I expect there to be much faster saving and loading times.
### What actually happened
I wait ~15 or more seconds per action to complete. Although the environment seems like it should be rock solid, WordPress localhost dev environment by WordPress.com, it is slow and buggy, often resulting in errors about not being able to connect to the database, etc.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the slow launch, site creation, post save, and database-connection failures in Studio App 1.16.0 on Windows x64. Inspect the app's available logs while each action runs and compare timing across the reported operations; done means identifying a reproducible bottleneck or failure path and verifying faster actions after the fix.
