Multilingual Line Glitches

We're having vertical alignment glitches, whenever Chinese and English characters are added to the same line:

```
Sample line is, start with 议院众议院 and begin typing english afterwards.
Any Chinese character will do, probably any Ja/Korean as well.
```

Reproduce the issue in the Simplenote macOS editor by placing Chinese and English characters on the same line, then inspect the text-rendering entry point responsible for line layout. Done means mixed Chinese, Japanese or Korean and English characters remain vertically aligned; the issue names no source file or test to run.
