Description

This is very low priority and isn't affecting me in any meaningful way. Mostly just making the issue because I've narrowed down the circumstances for reproducing it.

### Expected
Creating a newline works with no visual issues

### Observed
In certain very specific scenarios, creating a newline causes text below it to disappear for a half second or so, then reappear

### Reproduced
1. Create a new note
2. Hit enter at least 3 times, then type some text **on the last line**
3. Move your cursor up **two lines** and hit enter. The text on the last line will blink

Note that this only happens when your cursor is in the following condition:
1. 2 lines above the last line, **and**:
2. At the beginning of the line, **or** after spaces.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the macOS app using the listed steps: create a note, add three newlines, type on the last line, then insert a newline two lines above it. Investigate the note editor behavior around this cursor position. Done means creating the newline without the text below it disappearing or blinking.
