Description
Simplenote currently doesn't have a folder feature, and all notes are displayed at the same level. When I have a lot of notes, it becomes difficult to manage them effectively, and it's also hard to find the specific note I need. Even though Simplenote has a tagging feature, it still can't replace the functionality of folders.
Furthermore, because there's no folder feature, all notes show up directly on the homepage when you open the app. For notes that I don’t want others around to see, this is quite awkward. If there were a folder feature, then for notes that I don't want others to see, I could put them into folders. That way, as long as I don’t open a specific folder, people around wouldn’t be able to see the notes inside.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing the app architecture and the existing tagging feature to determine how notes are organized and displayed. Done should include a defined folder experience that lets users organize notes and keeps folder contents off the homepage until opened.
