Options to delete notes more efficiently is needed.

I've used simplenote for some time but it's frustrating that there is no option to purge and delete all notes, to select multiple notes or to delete all notes within a predefined tag.

I've simply been told to delete my account which is frankly not a good solution or a logical one.

I contacted support but that didn't yield anything.

Can we please have some better maintenance options for our notes.

I have over 3000 notes I need to get rid of and a couple hundred I want to keep and I don't want to delete my account.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the existing note deletion and note-list selection flows, then clarify which bulk, purge, and tag-scoped operations are in scope. Done means the agreed maintenance actions work without requiring account deletion.
